FlyCast is a FREE service that gives you what you really want – portable music and talk radio that’s better than Satellite radio, easy to use, and works on the device already in your pocket – like the BlackBerry (Bold, Storm, Curve), iPhone (Original, 3G, and iPod Touch) and Android phones like T-Mobile G1.
FlyCast now has well over 1200 unique channels of music, news, & sports and weather that you can listen to and watch anywhere. Most FlyCast channels work on low bandwidth connections, so you can listen on your phone even when there’s no 3G or EVDO high speed connection.
In partnership with RMG, Flycast can deliver exclusive and proprietary client sponsored radio and video stations highlighted by artist or genre. FlyCast will develop an artist specific audio/video mobile and desktop channel which will also be available on a sponsor’s website for a predetermined exclusive time period.
·A Twitter interface will allow users to Tweet about a song or a station they are listening to and the Tweet will include a link to take their “followers” right to that station inside of FlyCast. With their time-warping functionality, it can be used as a song dedication feature!
·Flycast has added Google Mobile AdWords to their build. Google has just released their mobile ads to a few select partners and Flycast is one of them!
·Flycast now has DoubleClick integration for ad trafficking, targeting and reporting. It will allow you to co-sell your own inventory using DoubleClick capabilities to traffic it.
·Flycast can do the ad insertions and provide you with your own DART interface. With this rollout, they will also include video pre-rolls.
