John Loeffler - John Loeffler has been a major force in television and advertising music for over thirty years. His musical themes have graced hit TV series, blockbuster films, certified gold albums and popular commercial jingles. Honored several times by ASCAP as one of television’s “Top 10 Most Listened to Composers”, John has made his reputation with his distinctive melodies and catchy phrases.
2008 was an active year for Loeffler in film and television. After composing and producing the Sports Emmy nominated soundtrack for the Paramount / CMT film “Dale”, the Dale Earnhardt Story, and the soundtrack for HBO’s Emmy Award winning documentary “Montana Meth” in 2007, he completed the score for “The Ride of Their Lives”, a new film on the history of NASCAR (Showtime/CMT).He also completed the theme and underscore for “Poker Late Nite” – NBC’s new late night poker show.
In children’s music, John continues to create all the Pokemon music for the cartoon series (over 655 shows) and the very popular “Kidz Bop” album series (15 albums) which have sold millions of copies over the last 10 years. John has spent over 25 years creating music for hundreds of commercial soundtracks.He launched many recognizable campaigns including Domino’s Pizza “Gotta Be Dominos!”, “I Love Eggs”, Jif Peanut Butter and many other campaigns for Coca-Cola, Avon, Windex, American Airlines, Red Lobster and Ford.
John has continued to create themes for a multitude of television series.His themes for “Kate and Allie” (CBS), “Working it Out” (CBS), “How to Pick up Girls” (CBS) and the daytime soap opera “Another World” (CBS), led to his first hit song “You Are My Way To… Another World” performed by Crystal Gayle and Gary Morris. These themes have become standards in sitcom music history.He is currently composing themes for Origami Warriors, Housewives of Nascar and Notre Dame Football (NBC).
For animated television, John also composed and produced themes and underscore music for the shows “Yu-Gi-Oh”, “Cubix”, “Shin-Chan” and “Generation Jets”.His soundtrack album for “Pokemon!-2B a Master” (Koch) has sold over 3.5 million units around the world.
John’s music production company, Rave Music, is headquarted in New York City where he there are several composers and editors on staff, as well as a studio in Santa Monica, California.
